The safety and protective wear marketplace is highly competitive, so when Personal Protection Plus engaged us to create and launch their new brand and e-commerce site, we knew we had our work cut out.
Our goal was to establish solid brand and digital foundations for the business, supplying Honeywell products for the mining and construction industries.
That meant brand development, marketing support, an e-commerce site with a member’s area for trade accounts, and all the social, blogging and PR bells and whistles required for a successful launch.

Making a visual statement of intent.
Time was of the essence. We needed a look that would resonate with our audiences and enable us to clearly communicate what the business does and sells via the website. And we needed it fast.
We started with the colour palette, selecting colours that suit and speak to the mining and construction industries. A burnt orange that reflects WA’s mining landscape. A bright yellow, the high-vis, high-energy colour that’s synonymous with safety. And a deep blue, providing a sense of professionalism and stability.
Next, we chose a strong, bold brand font and developed a complementary suite of icons to represent Personal Protection Plus’s product offerings.

An e-commerce website built for users and growth.
In a saturated market, Personal Protection Plus required a digital presence that was solid and easy to manage for their small team. As an e-commerce site, it also had to be intuitive – easy for users to find what they’re looking for.
We established a simple, logical structure for the site, driven by key product categories and the terminology customers use, all wrapped around a clean, smooth purchasing process.
Within the B2C site, we also developed a dedicated B2B wholesale area that requires a sign-in, enabling the Personal Protection Plus team to set different wholesale prices and minimum order quantities for different B2B customers.
