Building a rejuvenated brand from the inside out.

When our client acquired Hemponics, the brand felt tired. Moreover, it was firmly grounded in the previous owner’s story. We needed to draw a line in the sand and redefine and reinvigorate the brand but without compromising the values and brand equity that had served the business so well.

We started inside, thinking strategically.
Working with the new Hemponics team, we developed an empowerment-themed purpose and mission statement, establishing a fun brand voice and personality, culminating in a new tagline: Eat. Drink. Thrive. Repeat.

On the visual side, we leant into this more contemporary and assertive yet fun and friendly brand persona. Rounded lower-case typography. A stronger, vibrant colour palette. Less hippy (so many hemp brands go down this route). More hip and hempowered.

A new online e-commerce hemporium.

The new Hemponics brands required a new Hemponics e-commerce website that would bring the new brand to life.

From design to testing and deployment, we managed the whole website development process: IA, UX, content, photography, the works. This included:

  • a dedicated portal for retailers with easy access to product specifications and promotional materials
  • an intuitive shopping interface for consumers, optimised for conversions and upsells
  • integration of Hemponics and its sister company, Miss Vitality, for a unified shopping experience
  • a resource hub to boost SEO and empower consumers.

From an expo to a new CRM to POS.

It has been quite a journey. We’ve been to Sydney with the Hemponics team for the Naturally Good Expo (marketing, signage, expo setup).

We’ve implemented a new HubSpot CRM system for the Hemponics sales team (setup, systems integrations, staff training and leveraging HubSpot’s e-marketing and automation tools).

And we’ve also been providing support for Hemponics’ stockists and wholesale clients (marketing support, point-of-sale collateral) to drive sales and revenue.

Time to hemp up the brand’s socials.

Building on the new messaging platform and running with the fresh new brand voice, we developed and continue to manage Hemponics’ new social strategy.
It’s all about inspiration and empowering customers to incorporate hemp into their busy lifestyles and reap the rewards through education and promotions.
